The 2011 Maids

The Louisiana Irish Italian Association is now accepting applications for Maids for the 2011 Parade. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply. The cost per maid is $700.00 which includes your ride in the Parade with a chance of becoming Queen, 10 tickets to the dinner dance ($500 value),Tiara, and three tickets to the Grand Marshall's dinner at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport in January. The 29th Annual Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade rolls at Noon on Sunday, March 20th, 2011 in Metairie. See our Parade page for the route.
 

Past Grand Marshall's Dinner

Our Past Grand Marshall's Dinner will be on Sunday January 30, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport.  We will have a cocktail party from 5pm - 6pm, and a buffet dinner upon conclusion of the cocktail party.  This party is for Past Grand Marshall's, their spouses, and this years Court.  We would like to thank both the Crowne Plaza and Embassy Suites for sponsoring this event. 

 
Toasting Party at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill

Tuesday March 15th, 2011 from 4:00 pm - till.
Come enjoy free Miller Beer, Corn Beef, Cabbage, and Muffeletta's at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill located just off the corner of W. Napoleon Ave and Transcontinental in Metairie. 
 
Dinner Dance
Friday March 18th, 2011 we will host our Dinner Dance at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport from 8:00 pm - Midnight. The cost is $50 per person, which includes an Irish-Italian Buffet, Miller Beer, Wine, and entertainment provided by "The Top Cats."   E-Mail Jason Renton through our contact page for tickets and or information.
 
John's Tuxedos Irish-Italian Special
You can obtain your parade Tuxedos for $55 at John's Tuxedos in Metairie. Let them know you want the Irish-Italian Special.

The 2011 Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade will roll on
March 20th, 2011 at 12:00 noon.

Parade Documents

Parade Route - we exit Clearview shopping Center from the rear lining up on Houma Boulevard.  The parade starts on Veterans heading East to Severn, turns Northbound on Severn to 17th, turns South on Severn back to Veterans, turns East on Veterans ending at Martin Behrman.
