On March 2nd, 7pm, a meeting will take place at Beads by the Dozen in order to explain new rules, stagging at Zephyr Field, hand out float assignments, and throws.  This is a mandatory meeting that at least one person from your organization should attend.  


 

The 2010 Maids

The Louisiana Irish Italian Association is now accepting applications for Maids for the 2010 Parade. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply. The cost per maid is $700.00 which includes your ride in the Parade with a chance of becoming Queen, 10 tickets to the dinner dance ($500 value) on March 21st, Tiara, and three tickets to the Grand Marshall's dinner at the Hilton in January. Parade Date
The 28th Annual Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade rolls at Noon on Sunday, March 21st, 2010 in Metairie. See our Parade page for the route.

 
Toasting Party at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill

Tuesday March 16th from 4:00 pm - till.
Come enjoy free Miller Beer, Corn Beef, Cabbage, and Muffeletta's at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill located just off the corner of W. Napoleon Ave and Transcontinental in Metairie. 


 
Dinner Dance
Friday March 19th, 2010 we will host our Dinner Dance at the Airport Hilton from 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm. The cost is $50 per person, which includes an Irish-Italian Buffet, Miller Beer, Wine, and entertainment provided by "The Top Cats." You can obtain your parade Tuxedos for $55 at John's Tuxedos in Metairie. Let them know you want the Irish-Italian Special.
